Why does my niece always try to injure my puppy?

tell her parents that she is either to be punished and stop this at once, or tell her and her parents they are no longer welcome at your house until she can learn to respect your member of the family, because your dog is like your child, and you would have your dog go around kicking and hurting your niece, its just as unacceptable.
