Is it possible to buy applications in the U.S. App store (iTunes) with a foreign Credit Card?

I have a credit card from a middle eastern bank account that I want to use for purchases in the U.S. application store (iTunes) so I would like to know if that's possible. I have used my U.S. account to make purchases with a U.S. dept card before but I've moved away.
