Should i stay or should i go....?

I live in california and have been out of work for a year. I was finally offered a job in washington but it doesn't pay a whole lot and my family and I have a paid for house here so we don't have to worry about a roof over our heads. We make enough on unemployment to keep up going for another 6 months but I'm afraid that if I don't take this job I won't be offered another one. I like california I honestly don't think I would like eastern washington that much and financially since up there we'd have to pay rent we'd be in kind of the same boat. What would you guys do? Go and take my chances or stay and take my chances. If I leave California I'd have to give up my rent free house to my brother since he's the next in line to get it after I move out. So I won't be able to come back. thanks for the help
