Why does the internet make people act so cruel and heartless?

Sometimes the trolls are right. In this particular case, I don't agree with filming a sick child and putting it on Youtube. That's asking for trouble. Consider the case of Juliana Wetmore. She was born looking like a pink turtle. 70% of her facial bones are missing. The money used to rebuild her face to its hideous present state could have vaccinated millions of children. The parents knew about the serious deformity, and would not abort the pregnancy. The horrible thing is that she has a normal brain and knows how hideous she is. I think the only benefit this case has done anyone is by helping orthopedic surgeons work magic with nothing.
