Do Atheists agree that God must be fake, because He did not reveal Modern Knowledge to the Ancients? Should He?

A prophecy is not written for the people who first hear it. It's written for those who come afterwards; to be able to say "how could they have known about that? This is knowledge that people could not have had through ordinary means at the time".Whether it helps people have "better lives" or not is irrelevant. The point isn't to help us, the point is to teach us that we're being helped.
